This Month

It's been a bit of a difficult month, so it was nice to take a step back and refocus. Our first date was at the Pi Bar, in San Francisco, five years ago. To celebrate our milestone date-iversary, Tyler took the day off from work and we ate ALL THE PIE!

We ate breakfast pie (TJ's quiche), cottage pie (shepherd's pie, sub beef for lamb), and mudd pie (also from TJ's). We also indulged on lattes and tea, put together a puzzle, danced, and watched Waitress, a cult classic, now musical, about a waitress who bakes... you guessed it... pies!

Here's to the past 5 years, and the many more yet to come!

This Year

1 - Tyler celebrated 5 years with Optimizely and is now recognized as senior staff!

2 - Sunny weathered a leg-break at the beginning of the year, BUT once healed, he returned to his spunky, happy-go-lucky self!

3 - We finally replaced the VW Bug, left Sunny at home, and took a long roadtrip, prompted by the weddings of many friends and family this year.

4 - For Halloween, the three of us dressed up as characters from Fargo Season 1, and went Trick-or-Treating!

5 - Homeownership got real this year. We took care of many small and large projects, and have a ways yet before we will truly feel settled. Still we're raring to go!
