Summertime, and the Livin' is Easy

Summertime, and the Livin' is Easy

Happy 5-year Workiversary to my main squeeze!!

We packed in a lot of time together this month before the wedding festivities really take off next month. Our view of the Alameda 4th of July Parade was better than ever with our new and improved windows. And since it was Sunny's first parade, we especially enjoyed watching him check out horses for the first time!

Now that Sunny's healed and raring for adventures, we made time to host a second little fur-baby Jewella for the weekend. We went on extra long walks and played and cuddled at home. While we are by no means itching for a second pup, it was fun to have a full and bustling household for a couple of days. To make a good thing even better, Jewella's mom treated us to some wine tasting at Wine & Waffles as a thank you as well - woo hoo!

In a silent auction last month, we won a dinner for two at Lungomare. We thought Ty's Workiversary would be the perfect excuse to try the restaurant out, and boy, are we glad we did! The food was amazing, the cocktails were really fun, and the view was just what we had hoped for. The perfect way to celebrate a job well done.

With the encouragement of our friends Sarah and Andrew, we made it out to an A's game as well. It was great to be at a winning game and to have the time with these two, who rarely make it into town. While the A's game was fun, we really got a hoot out of our own game night. Sunny, especially, was thrilled to see someone else wearing a cone-of-shame for a change!
