Happy Birthday, Sunnydale!
Our little rescue pup is ONE YEAR OLD as of last week (or so), his growth plates have closed, and he is better than ever, after his leg break earlier this year. We are working hard on his training again and hope to get him back into ship shape after so many months without being able to practice!
BROKEN BONE UPDATE
We are so proud of this pup! After Sunny's leg surgery, the bones set but were much thinner than they ultimately needed to be. So, to build the bones back up, Sunny started on a daily walking regimen and regular bone broth feedings. About 5 weeks after getting his leg wrap off, Sunny was cleared for puppy playtime, and boy was he happy!
It's wonderful seeing him back in the swing of things, active and curious. We have many more adventures ahead of us, and it's good to know he'll be able to keep up!
