Visiting the Bay Area
We feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance this year to make our way back to the Bay Area for a visit after our move away. I was scheduled to be in Calistoga, CA for our first in-person company gathering, so we went early, and drove a bit farther, in order to stop in San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, and Alameda for a couple days!
It was wonderful to see our friends and family, to spend time with them outdoors, and to get another chance for some goodbyes, without the worries about packing up our home on our minds.
One of the best parts was how well El traveled at two and a half compared to the travel when she was newly two. She had a much easier trip there and back this time around, watching the scenery change and trucks drive by! Maybe she’ll figure out that road trip life after all. 🙂
