Winter Fun
It was so special to see Eleanor’s name in a program for the first time, as she performed in her dance studio’s winter showcase. She remembered every step as she followed her instructor on stage, thanks to all the practicing she did with Tyler at home. ♥️
Less than a week later, we made our way up Mt Hood to stay for several days. We took the pup, Daddy and El got to go skiing, and we all got to trek through the snow! It was El’s first time skiing, which she enjoyed immensely, and Sunny broke out of the cabin once while we were at dinner, so the littles kept us on our toes. All in all, it was a cozy adventure and we got back home just in time to celebrate Christmas by our tree. What made celebrating at home really nice this year is that we also got an immediate playdate with our friends the Schechters. The perfect way to celebrate!
Before winter ended, we rang in the new year, went to see the OCT performance of The Lightning Thief, and got a good amount of snow to frolic in just outside our door. The freezing rain was a different story - total nuisance - but we still made the best of it each extra day out of school. 😛
