We just closed on a new home…
in Portland, Oregon!

With Tyler's new remote job, we are no longer tied to our location in the SF Bay Area, allowing us to finally act on our dreams to live in the Pacific Northwest. We reached out to our beloved Alameda Realtor Anne McKereghan, she put us in touch with Portland Realtor Jesse Knight, and we hit the ground running!

We fell in love with this home online three weeks ago, made an offer less than 24 hours later (sight unseen), finally stepped foot inside (masked and distanced, following a grueling full-day drive) six days after that, and haven’t looked back since. We were shocked to find that real estate moves even faster in Portland than it does in Alameda.

Still, we had keys in hand shortly after signing for our condo, which won’t be the case this time around. It’ll be more than a month before we travel to Portland again, but next time we do, it’ll be home!
