The Big News

We bought a new home, sold our first home, and moved to Portland, Oregon! We’ve consumed an enormous amount of coffee (when in Rome!), met new friends thanks to Zoom and a couple outdoor gatherings, tried out tons of playgrounds, gone apple picking and pumpkin picking, and made it back to see the giant tree in Pioneer Courtyard Square for the winter holiday season.

Happy Highlights

1 - Although we spent most of the year at home, awaiting a COVID vaccine for our little one, Meemaw and Nana came to visit us in Portland and we took a brief roadtrip back down to the Bay Area to see Grandpa, Maria, Aunt Lulu, and our friends we left just earlier this year.

2 - For our Halloween family costume this year, we were the Three Bears and Goldilocks — Daddy, Mama, and Baby Bear, with Sunny as Goldilocks. We dressed up and went door-to-door on our block in the morning to pass out Halloween treat bags/greetings to our neighbors, drove to deliver cards to nearby friends, then watched the movie Coco before bed. It was a blast!

3 - Our new home got a new coat of paint, a small roof repair, and a new HVAC system, which helped tremendously considering Portland hit record high temperatures this summer! 🥵
